Look at what I found last night while making my last night check before heading to bed. We've had cold temps and lots rain for the past few nights (it's actually raining again tonight 😠). Our boys have choice so they can stay in the dry barn, stand under the covered lean-to out of the elements, or stand out in the rain. And....the 98% of the time they stand out in the rain, go figure. Last night was special, Rich and Rocky decided to hang out in the barn together and get some much needed rest on the dry ground. These two have really bonded over the past 6 months, getting closer and closer each day, this makes my heart so happy. Its taken a long time for Rocky to fit in with the boys and he is really opening up. We have allowed everything on his terms, we have no idea about his past life before us, but I'm 100% sure it didn't involve daily treats, scratches, grain 2 times a day, and a mum and dad that love him and talk to him like one of their children. He's a special boy.
These two BIGs like to nap together - standing or stretched out and they like to be very close. I hope you all have a great night and that tomorrow is a good day for you all.
These boys are gonna need to be brushed out when it stops raining, and that is gonna be a lot of work 😉
