One of my favorite places....

Right off the Blue Ridge Parkway, The Orchard at Altapass in Little Switzerland, NC is the kind of stop you dont plan for but end up talking about all week. You pull in, step out into that crisp mountain air, and hear live pickin drifting across the hill while the view stretches forever. You wander the old apple orchard, browse the general store for local jams, cider, and little handmade finds, then grab a fresh apple and something sweet for the road. You settle into a rocking chair, watch families and hikers roll through, and let the whole place slow you down in the best way. Parkings easy, the prices feel fair, and everyones genuinely friendly without rushing you. You leave with a bag in hand and that calm, happy feeling like you just found a true mountain gem.

Our Vet Truck made the trip to Versailles, Kentucky this week for a few important repairs, updates, and modifications to help keep our mobile veterinary services running at their best.

We can't thank Mike at First Class Bodies enough for fitting us into his schedule and ensuring our veterinary body was in excellent condition.

His craftsmanship and attention to detail help us continue providing reliable farm call services to the animals and families we serve throughout Western North Carolina.

We're grateful for the people who help keep us on the road so we can continue caring for your farms, herds, and animals.
