Meet Betty! Owned by Natalie, a boarder of ours! Betty is here to get tuned up after having a few months off and working on collection and moving off leg pressure as well as a few other things! This is her first week of being in the program and I’m loving this mare already🩷

☀️ Beat the Heat! 🐴

Today’s temperatures are over 90° here in Michigan, so I made sure to get the horses worked early this morning before the heat set in.

A reminder to all horse owners: fresh water, shade, electrolytes, and avoiding work during the hottest part of the day can go a long way in preventing heat stress.

Stay safe, stay hydrated, and take care of your horses, they’re counting on you! ❤️🐴

Meet Destiny! A boarder and one who’s in the training program this month. We’re only in our second week of training but man we’ve come a long way since then! Some things we’ve accomplished already: not running you over, not pulling you around, lunging with complete respect, learned what “woah” means, standing in the cross ties (which was the hardest thing ever for her lol), standing while getting tacked up, standing still at the mounting block and as we mount, taking the bit, walking under saddle (all she used to do was trot). There has been so much this mare already accomplished and it’s amazing! I can’t wait to finish month 1 with her🩷
