As we prepare to celebrate Independence Day, we wanted to let everyone know about our holiday hours.

🕔 Thursday, July 2: We will close early at 5:00 PM.
Friday, July 3: Our office will be closed in observance of Independence Day🇺🇸

This year marks a very special milestone 🇺🇸 250 years of America's enduring spirit, freedom, and independence. As we honor this historic anniversary, we are grateful for the opportunity to serve such an amazing community and care for the pets who mean so much to your families.

If your pet needs medication refills or food before the holiday weekend, please contact us as soon as possible so we can assist you before we close.

We wish you, your families, and your furry companions a safe, happy, and memorable Fourth of July! Please remember to keep pets indoors during fireworks, ensure they have updated ID tags or microchips, and provide them with a quiet, secure place to relax.

Hot weather can be tough on our furry friends. Remember to exercise during cooler parts of the day, provide plenty of fresh water, protect sensitive paws from hot pavement, and never leave pets unattended in a vehicle.
Keep an eye out for signs of heat stroke, including excessive panting, drooling, vomiting, or lethargy. If you notice any of these symptoms, seek veterinary care right away.

🐾🐾It’s Veterinary Reception Week, and we want to take a moment to recognize the incredible
people who keep the front desk running smoothly at Clintonville Hometown Veterinary Service.
Our receptionist–Leticia, Jena, Jamie, Abby, Tammy, and Darrian– are often the first voice you
hear on the phone and the first face you see when you walk through our doors. They juggle
busy schedules, answer countless calls, comfort worried pet parents, and help keep everything
organized behind the scenes–all with compassion, patience, and a smile.
This role is not always easy, but it is absolutely essential. We are so grateful for the kindness,
professionalism, and dedication our reception team brings to our clinic and our clients every day.
