Dr. Coobs has been with us for a year now, and we’ve enjoyed having him on our team so much that we realized we never formally introduced him to our clients! His compassion, dedication, and sense of humor have been a wonderful addition to our clinic family.
Below is a little bio to help you get to know Dr. Coobs better 😉🐾
Hi, I’m Dr. Doug Coobs, a 1978 graduate of the Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Shortly after graduation, I moved to Clintonville and began my career at Clintonville Veterinary Service, which later became United Veterinary Service. I spent 41 years in practice, primarily as a large animal veterinarian, before retiring for a few years.
These days, I’m back in action part-time, assisting the outstanding team at Clintonville Hometown Veterinary Service. My wife, Kim, and I have five children and nine grandchildren scattered across the country—two in Wrightstown, WI; three in Roanoke, VA; two in Rockville, MD; and two in Boise, ID. Luckily, we love to travel!
In my free time, I enjoy hunting, fishing, reading, and, most of all, spending time with my family.
