Due to cellcom being down, some people are having a hard time contacting us. If you are unable to call in on our clinic number, some other ways we can be contacted is via email ([email protected]) or facebook messenger. We were also made aware that cellcom users can still get through when texting to an iPhone. With that being said Dr. Jason should be able to receive text messages. I apologize for the inconvenience and we look forward to assisting you with your cattle needs.

As of November 5th, 840 RFIDs will be considered the only official USDA ID type.
Cattle that will require official identification are one or more of the following:
-Traveling out of state
-Being vaccinate for bangs
-Being tested for tuberculosis, brucellosis, and influenza
-Going to shows, fairs, or exhibits that have chosen to require an official ID

Cattle that have a NUES tag(metal orange bangs or silver bright tag) before November 5th will not need to be tagged with an 840 RFID and will still be considered officially identified for their lifetime.

When purchasing 840 RFID tags, be sure to have location address and premise ID information on hand. We are happy to help with acquiring these if you will need them in the future.
Below is a link with more details on official ID requirements.
Talk to your farm vet if you have further questions!

It's a beautiful day for career day at Clintonville Elementary School! K-5 students enjoyed seeing some of the tools large animal veterinarians use, meeting Dr. Dan's dog, Hairy, and learning how important math and science are for this career path.
