Your pets deserve a pedicure every now and then, too 💅

When a pet’s nails become too long, they can change the way your pet stands and walks, put extra pressure on the feet and joints, and make everyday activities less comfortable. Overgrown nails may also snag, split, or even curl toward the paw pads.

Regular nail trims help keep your pet comfortable and moving the way they should.

Oklahoma heat is hard on our pets, too. As the kids are back in school, make sure someone is around to keep your pets comfortable as we finish out the summer.

Make sure they always have access to fresh water and a cool place to rest, and try to limit walks and outdoor activity during the hottest part of the day.

Don’t forget about those paws, either. Pavement and concrete can become much hotter than the air and may cause painful burns.

Help us make sure everyone in the family—two-legged and four-legged—enjoys the rest of these hot temps safely!
