Meet our "Alleycats" room residents!😸🐈‍⬛💕

These sweeties tend to be our longer residents, more timid/shy kitties, and some working on gaining trust with humans. They are patiently awaiting for the perfect adopter to come along and take them home to their furever castle 🐾🏰

Alleycats & Aristocats will be open this weekend, 7/31 - 8/2, Friday through Sunday, 11am to 4pm. Stop by to give these bashful babes soft, loving pets. Or, grab the wand toy and play from a distance!
Please note, next weekend we will be closed on Friday, 8/7 to volunteer at the Medina County Fair. We will open on 8/8 and 8/9 with our regular hours.

Update on Zeus! ❤️‍🩹

After being brought in to the ER, Zeus was hospitalized overnight. He was diagnosed with FIP - Feline Infectious Peritonitis is a severe & historically fatal viral disease in cats caused by a mutation of the feline coronavirus. Recent advancements in veterinary medicine have made it possible to treat FIP with an antiviral medication.

After his hospitalization, where he was monitored overnight, was syringe fed, and started on FIP treatment, Zeus was discharged Thursday evening and is now back in his foster home. He is more alert, jumping around, and eating on his own again. He still has a long road ahead of him for recovery as this is just the beginning of his FIP treatment.

Thank you for those that have donated and shown support for little Zeus! He deserves the chance to live a normal, healthy life ❤️

WE NEED YOUR HELP! ‼️

A kitten in our care, Zeus, was rushed to the emergency room earlier today and has since been diagnosed with FIP. Feline Infectious Peritonitis is a severe & historically fatal viral disease in cats caused by a mutation of the feline coronavirus. Recent advancements in veterinary medicine have made it possible to treat FIP with an antiviral medication, but this treatment, in addition to Zeus’s emergency hospitalization to ensure he receives the critical care he needs, will be costly.
