I just realized our $5 Friday post didn’t post this morning …
It’s $5 Friday! Or one of our supporters now calls it Fido Friday! Any amount is appreciated and 💯 goes directly to the dogs medical needs & food.
This week has been crazy with all the work having to be done at the house. The dogs did as good as they could. By Day 4 they were definitely done with their schedule being off. We are waiting a bit to start phase 2.
I have to pick up 3 of Eugene’s medications and Charlotte’s thyroid meds this Sunday. Also Fraggle & Charlottes eye meds had to be refilled this week. Sassy has a vet appointment this coming Tuesday for her Addisions medication.

We’ve had a lot of interest in Chew but everyone has kids in their lives (kids of their own or grandkids). I would not place him with children as he can be protective of who he loves. He’s an amazing boy and will be perfect for the right family! Now where are they?!?!
Sassy is awesome. She is still losing weight and her Addisons medication dose is being lowered every month. Our goal is about 24 lbs for her which will put her monthly medication cost around $100 ish. She is so happy and just a fun good girl! I cannot say enough good things about her! Who is her family going to be?!
Our intake is closed until Sassy, Chewie and hopefully Sparky are adopted.
Saying no to the seniors sitting in shelters all day everyday takes its toll on me, but I am doing all that I can. Somedays it feels like more than I can. Most people don’t realize I work 50 + hours a week at my business all while trying to run this rescue. Lately the rescue is running me.
Please donate if you can, it’s been non stop medical procedures with the dogs. A bunch of $5 donations can add up to a lot. Eugene, Charlotte and Fraggle have ongoing medical for the rest of their lives. Sassy will have ongoing medical every day/month for the rest of her life & until she is adopted. Anything will help right now as all of my funds need to be going towards the house replumb.
