What an amazing day at our annual Youth Stock Show Workshop!

We wanted to thank a number of people and organizations who helped make this event possible:

Clare Public Schools and staff for helping us host this event at the school.

The feed reps from Primo, Kalmbach, ADM, and Umbarger who were present to answer questions, talk to youth members and give away free merch.

Our speakers Steve Beattie, Mark Fuller and Ben Lenig who traveled to share their knowledge and experience in their perspective industries. Thank you for making this experience engaging and interactive.

MADS Outdoor Products for bringing a variety of livestock equipment to have on hand for people to look at (we have these in stock at JE now too)!

JJ UltraWave Services for being a part of our day this year, and providing knowledge on ways to support and keep all livestock projects performing at their best throughout the season.

Johnston Elevator employees who help the store and the workshop run smoothly on this busy day.

If you’ve been in these past few weeks, you’ve probably noticed that the parking lot has been a little congested. We recently had Integral Builders of Clare installing a new roof on the old mill. This was a much needed fix that will go a long way to preserving this 130 year old structure for years to come. We appreciate Integral’s professionalism and attention to detail on this project and would like to thank our customers for their patience while we worked on this.

Get ready! The 2025 Youth Stock Show Workshop is just around the corner! Whether you're a first-timer or a seasoned pro, this workshop is packed with valuable tips and tricks to enhance your 2025 show season. While you are there take advantage of talking to a variety of feed reps, stop by JJ UltraWave Services to see how they can best serve your animal, and shop at the JE booth for your favorite products. We will have same day event discounts for 4H members on feed preorders and livestock products.

We are very excited to announce our presenter line-up for our April 5th Youth Stock Show Workshop and Feed Event. Please note, this year it will be at Clare High School. Doors opening at 8:45 and presentations beginning at 9:00. Feed reps will also be on hand to answer feed and nutrition questions. There is no cost to the public and no pre-registration is required. This should be an awesome event!
