Lions and Tigers and KITTENS...Oh my!

We have been fully taken over by an army of 30 kittens and their army is growing bigger everyday.

We think they are trying to stage a coupe...but we just can't prove it 😅

They are curious, they love to explore and they will have a lifetime of new experiences. Now all they need is that special family to help them navigate this thing called life 🐾

Colorful kittens, spunky kittens, loveable kittens, kittens with mittens. You name it, we probably have a kitten to match any lifestyle 🐱

❗️Uh-oh, we have hit a HUGE snag in our normal daily cleaning and we desperately need some help!

Our washer and dryer have both decided they are done being worked hard and have officially gone out on us.

We have had them both serviced several times. However, they are both home use appliances and the capacity at which we run them far exceeded their capabilities.

🧼🫧We run 5-7 loads of laundry a day! Lots of blankets, towels and of course mop heads.

While home washer and dryers will work, we really need some commercial ones to keep up with the demand. We have alot of baby kittens and puppies who desperately need to have some warmth and soft bedding.

Know someone who is refurbishing a laundromat? Someone who wouldn't mind sponsoring one? We would definitely appreciate it.

Bedding provides more than just a place to lay. Its vital to the animals wellbeing while they stay.

It helps with:

Does anyone recognize this old girl? She has been at the shelter for 7 days now and really needs to go home to her family. The kennel is a very scary place for her. She was found on county road 209 in Jemison on 5/19!!

She has sutures on her back that looks like they were never removed and the hair has completely grown over them. At one point this baby had someone who loved her.

In observance of Memorial Day the shelter will be CLOSED to the public tomorrow Monday 26th, 2026 to allow staff to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

We will resume normal hours Tuesday May 27, 2026 at 10a.

We have so many wonderful four-legged companions who are waiting for their big shot to finally have a home to call their own. That unconditional love, endless belly rubs and unlimited snuggles they all long for. 🐾

All pets go home spayed/neutered, microchipped, age appropriate vaccinations, flea/tick preventions, heartworm test (if old enough) and heartworm prevention. Plus they get a little goodie bag with food, toys and treats to get them started.

We want to give our biggest THANK YOU to the gentleman at The National Professional Fishing League for spending their morning with us and walking all of the adult dogs on the adoption floor! Even the shy ones and those who are still learning to walk properly. They showed them grace, patience and compassion. While our pups got to excersise, socialize and take a nice, long hard nap after!

This is what community is. This is what we wake up every morning excited to see. The love and pure hearts from all over the world coming to support our community and give back to our community. You guys rock!!

There kindness proves you can make a small difference in just a couple of hours out of your day and we are thankful for them choosing to see our pups!
