Care Center Animal Blood Bank The Care Center Animal Blood Bank is a full-service, non-profit veterinary blood bank.

The Care Center Animal Blood Bank offers our veterinary community a full assortment of blood products ready to administer should your pet become critically ill and/or require a transfusion. We are pleased to partner with Hill's Science Diet to provide this valuable, life-saving service. To schedule your dog for a free blood donor screening, please call 513-530-0911. The perfect canine blood donor

is:
-1 to 7 years of age (Can donate until 9 years old)
-Friendly
-More than 50 pounds (in lean body weight)
-Healthy
-Up-to-date on vaccines and take monthly heartworm preventative
-Not on any medication (other than flea, tick, and heartworm; some exceptions made)
-Never received a blood transfusion before
-Willing to donate 3-4 times per year

HAPPY RETIREMENT Houdini. This guy right here is an OG. He started donating back in 2018 and has been a loyal donor ever since. He was one donation away from 3 gallons. He has helped save over 92 dogs. What an amazing feat and an amazing little man. We are going to miss his energy. Enjoy your lazy days ahead.

Duke is going to sleep good tonight! He came in today for his very FIRST DONATION. Although he was unsure of what he was getting himself into, he did it with flying colors and mom was here to hold his hand. He's still a young pup, but he knew he had lives to save. Duke did great and we can't wait to see him until next time. Thank you Duke!
