This past weekend, our amazing CVSWC crew swapped scrubs for sunscreen and paddles! 💦 We hit the water for a fun-filled kayaking trip and soaked up some well-deserved R&R.

Working Together to Make a Difference ❤️🐾

This past weekend, CVSWC had the absolute privilege of partnering with the incredible team at Badass Bulldog Rescue — and what an amazing event it was!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to show their support. It was an honor to present $1,000 to Badass Bulldog to be used for medical care right here at the hospital for their rescue pups. This group takes on everything — from the easy wins to the heartbreaking, complicated cases — and they do it all with love and grit.

🎸A special shoutout to Dr. Dan and Dr. Faircloth for providing live music during the event, and to all our CVSWC team members who came out to support!

🐶 Badass Bulldog Rescue is a 100% foster, volunteer, and donation-based organization located near Dayton, Ohio. At any given time, they’re caring for around 50 dogs, each with unique needs. Their dedication is unmatched, and we’re proud to stand beside them in their mission.

💙 For Veterinary Assistant Week, we’re sending a HUGE shoutout to the powerhouse team at Cincinnati Veterinary Surgical and Wellness Center! 💙 Meet Lauren, Izzy, and Mandi! 3 incredible individuals who manage to go above and beyond for their patients and teammates every single day… all while working full-time and pursuing their RVT credentials! 🤯👏

💪 Lauren – Their Lead Assistant and multitasking queen! From keeping the surgery department humming to managing scheduling and supporting their rescue partner, Lauren is a true leader and a daily source of support and strength for the team!

📦 Izzy – Balancing school and inventory management like a pro! She’s taken charge of their COGS (and nailed it), all while staying committed to her growth in veterinary medicine. Her initiative and precision make a real difference!

🐾 Mandi – A true team player who shows up ready to dive in! Whether it’s assisting with surgeries, tackling dentals, or educating clients on preventative care, Mandi brings reliability and heart to everything she does.
