We are out of appropriate kennel space for dogs across both shelter locations. Dogs are being housed in temporary pop-up crates, pens, and even garage space because we simply do not have enough room. 💔

Our team is doing everything possible to care for the animals coming through our doors, but we cannot solve this crisis alone. We need our community to step up.

𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘'𝗦 𝗛𝗢𝗪 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗖𝗔𝗡 𝗛𝗘𝗟𝗣 𝗧𝗢𝗗𝗔𝗬:
🐾 𝗔𝗗𝗢𝗣𝗧: Hundreds of animals are waiting for families. Same-day adoptions are available, and no pre-application is required.

🏡 𝗙𝗢𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗥: Can't commit to adoption? Fostering is FREE, and even a short-term stay can give an animal a much-needed break while opening up space at the shelter. Email [email protected] to get started or come fill out an application in person

🙌 𝗩𝗢𝗟𝗨𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗘𝗥: Our staff and volunteers are stretched thin. Your time and support can make a real difference in the lives of these animals.

📲 𝗦𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗘: Every post shared gives an animal another chance to be seen by a potential adopter or foster. Help us reach the people who can make a difference.

🆘 We need people to come through our doors, open their homes, and help us spread the word. You don't have to do everything, but doing something matters.

Please visit us TODAY. Meet the animals who need you, find your new best friend, or take the first step toward fostering.

📍 3949 Colerain Ave (dogs only)
📍 4210 Dane Ave (dogs and cats)
🕐 Both locations are open daily from 1–6 PM.

Our community has the power to help these animals. Please show up for them now. ❤️

The best kind of doggo friends are unexpected doggo friends 🥰 Sam (Pyrenees) and Darma’s owner had an emergency and Pawsitive jumped at the chance to care for these two cuties. ❤️🐾

When it comes to emergencies, we are almost always available for check-ins, and sometimes available for overnights. Please get in touch with us if you ever need a hand— we love growing our Pawsitive family! 🐾

Being a petsitter means you not only get to know great animals, but great humans as well. For 5 years Lisa had the pleasure of checking in on Taz, and as it turns out, his owner became one of Lisa’s close friends 🐾😭❤️ I am so grateful for this kitty for the love that he gave and the legacy he left behind through our friendship. Thanks for introducing us Taz. Rest easy, old man ❤️‍🩹
