has set up ground pole exercises in our outdoor arena and has provided the following descriptions. Thank you Caroline! She is fabulous!
1. First picture- This is a long weaving pole. It will help the horse with proprioception, core muscle strength, and sling muscle balance. It is primarily done at the walk.
2. Second picture- S bend to practice quarter turns on haunches when walking forward and quarter turns on the forehand when backing.
3. Third picture- Between the cones. This is a set of trot poles.
4. Fourth picture- This is a set of uneven poles set for walking. Good for core strength.
