Nova just being Nova. Overlook her “sheep” stain from playing in pasture last night. Praise Jesus Auntie Megen will Dirt 2 Dazzle Dog Spa her Thursday. She looking like we may play dog show. 😂🥰🐾🐾❤️.

Here are some good tips to keep your fur babies safe and happy for a PAWTASTIC summer! ❤️🐾🐾❤️

☀️Greater Kingsport Kennel Club hopes everyone is a having a safe and fantastic summer, and would love to share some dog safety tips to beat the summer heat. ☀️
* Provide fresh, cool water at all times, both indoors and outdoors. 💦
* Consider adding ice to water bowls, especially during heat waves. 🧊
* Be aware of hot pavement, which can burn paws. Test the ground temperature with your hand before letting your pet walk on it. ✋🏼
* You can also boost hydration by feeding canned food or adding water to dry food. 🦴
* Consider giving dogs another source of space to cool off like a kiddie pool, shaded area, or a cooling mat/tile. 💨
* Never leave pets unattended in a parked car, even for a short time. Temperatures inside a car can raise rapidly, even with the windows cracked. 🚗
* Brush your pet regularly, especially long-haired breeds, to help them stay cool.
* Consider freezing treats like chicken broth or peanut butter in popsicle molds or ice cube trays. 🧊

🐾 LoveJoy Corgis Update 🐾

Unfortunately, Penny—our co-owned girl—was not pregnant, as confirmed by her ultrasound. While we are disappointed, we trust that God has a plan and perfect timing for everything. ❤️

We’ll be ultrasounding Bug, our beautiful tri girl, next week. This would be the first litter for both girls, so we’re hopeful and excited for what’s to come.

A client asked for a picture of the famous, Bubba! Bubba was my “designer” pup before it was cool. His dam was a Blue Heeler and sire Jack Russell. Now it was a “opps” breeding at my trainer’s barn. I got Bubba when I was 14 and lost him at 29. If you got to meet him you know what a wonderful “person with fur” he was and he would tell you you about it too. Funny he is kind a corgi with lesss fur and 1/2 up ears. 🤣🥰🙃🐾🐾

Little Different- Meet Leroy!

Leroy is 4 year old Frenchie looking for PAWrents! He lives in SC but unfortunately due to family’s lifestyle they have decided in Leroy’s best interest to place him with PAWrents who have time for Leroy. He is super sweet, loves kids, loves chasing the ball and up-to-date on all shots records. He has been inside but family kennels him if they leave for long periods. He has not been neutered, he is not breeding quality dog. The breeder told the family she would mail his papers and that never happened either.
