🐰💛 Look who's feeling a little braver this morning.

When this bunny arrived last night, everything was new, unfamiliar, and a little scary. We promised to take things slowly and let them settle in at their own pace.

This morning, we got the sweetest little surprise.

Instead of hiding away, this brave bunny started coming up to say hello, accepting a few gentle pets and showing us the first glimpses of their personality. It may seem like a small thing, but in rescue, these moments are huge.

Trust isn't something we expect. It's something we earn.

Watching a scared animal begin to feel safe enough to be curious is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.We're still learning this little one's story, but seeing those first tiny steps toward confidence has us completely smitten already. 💛

Right now, we're keeping things quiet and low stress while this little one settles in. We will learn more tomorrow, but first impressions are that they're sweet, shy, and understandably a little scared.

Rescue isn't always dramatic.

Sometimes it's simply providing a safe place, fresh food, clean bedding, and the chance to take a deep breath after traveling hours to get to us.

Tonight, that's exactly what this bunny needs.We'll share more once we've had time to assess, get to know them, and make a plan for what comes next.

There's a new posse in town, and they're looking for forever homes.

Butch Cassidy, Belle Starr, Jesse James, Calamity Jane, and Annie Oakley are officially available for adoption and ready to ride off into their next adventure. These friendly, outgoing kittens are full of personality, love to play, and have never met a stranger.

From tiny-but-mighty Butch Cassidy to sweet Belle Starr and adventurous Jesse James, each of these little outlaws is ready to steal a heart or two.

All kittens are:

Three adorable kittens are looking for their forever homes! 💛🐾

Meet Oreo, Hazel, and Onyx.

Oreo is a friendly, outgoing boy who loves people and is always ready to be part of the action. Hazel is a sweet and playful girl with the perfect mix of curiosity and affection. And little Onyx, the runt of her litter, may be tiny, but she has a huge personality and is sure to stay on the smaller side as an adult.

All three are litter box trained, full of kitten energy, and ready to bring plenty of fun, love, and entertainment to their future families.

Oreo is neutered, and Hazel and Onyx will be spayed prior to adoption. All are up to date on vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, and FeLV/FIV negative.

Introducing Fanta’s Fighter Fund

Some animals need more than rescue.

They need ongoing therapy. Specialist care. Adaptive equipment. Daily support. Patience. Time. And people willing to keep showing up for them every step of the way.

Fanta’s Fighter Fund was created from the belief that rescue does not end after the first yes.

Inspired by Fanta’s incredible fighting spirit and the quiet determination he showed every single day, this fund exists to support animals facing complex medical and physical challenges with the long term care they deserve.

Today, that includes animals like Mini Pearl, a partially blind lamb with immature cataracts, Twizzler, a baby goat born with a deformed back leg, and Poppy, who recently arrived with fused joints in her front legs that impact her mobility. Their challenges may look different, but they all share the same need for specialized care, ongoing support, and a team committed to helping them thrive.

Fanta’s Fighter Fund helps cover the costs of specialist veterinary appointments, diagnostic imaging, therapies, mobility support, adaptive feeding needs, and long term medical treatment as these animals continue their journeys.

In so many ways, this fund is how we carry Fanta forward.

His life changed the way we see special needs care and deepened our commitment to the animals who require a little more time, a little more support, and a whole lot of love. Through every therapy session, specialist visit, milestone, and challenge, Fanta’s spirit remains part of the work we do every single day.
