🥧🐱 Two little pies looking for their forever homes! ❤️

Meet Pecan Pie (boy) and Pumpkin Pie (girl)! These adorable kittens started out a little spicy when they arrived at Fabled Farm, but they’ve turned into the sweetest little pies! 🥹

Both are friendly, playful, and full of kitten mischief! They’re ready to bring plenty of love, laughter, and a little extra sweetness to their forever families.

They’re current on age-appropriate veterinary care and will be spayed/neutered before adoption. Both are looking for loving, indoor-only homes and can be adopted separately.

Who needs a little pie in their life this holiday season? 🥧🐾

This was such an amazing experience and we love seeing the work being done by incredible organizations like SEA LIFE TRUST Beluga Whale Sanctuary first hand! 💙

April and Bryan were walking around Iceland at midnight when they spotted something they never expected to see in the middle of the street: a baby puffin. 🐧

They learned that young puffins can become disoriented by town lights when they leave their burrows, accidentally heading inland instead of toward the ocean.

The couple, who both had animal rescue experience, carefully picked him up and brought him to a local rescue center. But it was already closed for the night, so they kept the puffling safely contained overnight and returned the next morning, where he was weighed and cleared for release.

April and Bryan brought the little puffin, whom they named Orin, to the cliffs, where other puffins were flying all around them.

The couple watched Orin fly out and land near a group of other young puffins. April was so overwhelmed that she started crying.

After traveling seven hours to Iceland for a vacation, April and Bryan called this the highlight of their entire trip. ❤️

We went to a conference and apparently Herbie got himself a new best friend. 🐷❤️

Judging by the pictures Katie kept sending us, we’re starting to think she might be just a LITTLE obsessed with this tiny piglet. And honestly, we get it! 🥹

We’re so incredibly thankful to have Katie caring for the farm whenever we have to be away. Knowing our animals are in such loving, capable hands gives us so much peace of mind.

Although at this point, we’re not entirely sure she’s going to give Herbie back. 😂❤️

Thank you to volunteers Marilyn and Tracy for also helping out this week!

Our little Herbie is growing up! 🥹🐷❤️

He’s officially DOUBLED his weight since arriving at Fabled Farm, and his confidence is growing right along with him!

He’s learning to follow sounds, meeting the other animals, rooting around in the grass, running through the yard, and being an absolutely fearless little piglet. 😂

Despite his neurological and vision challenges, Herbie is finding his way and doing so many of the things we hoped he’d be able to do.

We couldn’t be happier with his progress so far! Keep going, little buddy!

❤️

🐾 A little time away from the farm, but still working for the animals! ❤️

Bryan and I are spending some time at The Association for Animal Welfare Advancement (AAWA) Conference, learning from other animal welfare professionals, sharing ideas, and exploring new ways to make a difference.

From storytelling and community partnerships to finding creative solutions to the challenges facing animal rescues, there’s so much to learn!

We’re excited to bring some fresh ideas and inspiration back to Fabled Farm. Because even after so many years in rescue, there’s always room to learn, grow, and do better for the animals who depend on us. ❤️

Good morning from Fabled Farm! ☀️🐐🐴🐷

Come along for a little morning stroll as we make our way around the farm, say hello to the crew, and enjoy a beautiful fall morning!

We’ve sped things up a bit so you can see almost the entire farm in just six minutes. Trust us, we don’t normally walk this fast! 😂

Grab your coffee and enjoy a little time with the Fabled crew! ❤️

📸 Picture day at Fabled Farm!

Getting two humans and a whole bunch of animals camera-ready is no small task! 😂🐐🐴🐷

A huge thanks to our incredible photographer! Now we can’t wait to see the pictures! Sara Ann Photography

I swear, Charley is the reason we can’t have nice things. 😂🐐No fall decorations. No Christmas decorations. Apparently, we’re not even allowed to have a cute little bee house. And poor Herbie is just trying to live his life in peace. 🤦‍♀️🐷❤️
