‼️Cold Laser Therapy for the win! ‼️Rosco presented for a nasty wound on his left shoulder.
🐶The first picture (11/3) is after Dr. Aaron clipped, cleaned, and placed a drain tube to the wound under anesthesia.
🐶The second picture is from yesterday (11/13) after Rosco's 3rd laser treatment. It is healing so nicely without invasive therapy or bandage changes.
🐶The third picture is handsome Mr. Rosco wearing his doggles for treatment, because safety first!!

Our Story

Chillicothe Animal Hospital, Inc was founded by the late Layton Jackson, DVM in the 1960s. Back then it was better known as Chillicothe Veterinary Clinic. In 1976, Clark Gwin, DVM purchased the practice and became the solo veterinarian until Daniel Ross, DVM joined in 1988. The clinic was incorporated in 1990, becoming what it is today, Chillicothe Animal Hospital, Inc. Dr. Gwin retired in 2013 after serving Chillicothe faithfully for decades. In the fall of 2018, Drs. Samantha and Aaron Maberry took ownership of Chillicothe Animal Hospital, Inc. The addition of Annie Callahan, DVM in the June 2019 and Laci Peterson, DVM in July 2020, has allowed us to further expand our services and availability with 5 veterinarians.

Chillicothe Animal Hospital prides itself on having served the Chillicothe community and surrounding areas for 60 years. We look forward to continuing the tradition of practicing progressive veterinary medicine for years to come.
