Our adoption and veterinary center will be closed on July 4th in observance of Independence Day. 🐶❤️🐱 Adoption walk-in hours will resume Saturday from 12–4 PM for you to find your perfect match! We hope everyone (and every animal) has a safe and fun holiday weekend. Please remember to keep your pets' collars on and keep them indoors in case of fireworks!

Did you know more pets go missing over 4th of July weekend than any other time of year? 🐶🐱 Fireworks can scare even the calmest pets, often leading them to run off in panic.

⭐ Make sure your pets are wearing collars with up-to-date ID tags
⭐ Keep your pets secure and indoors (fireworks can go off for several nights leading up to the 4th)
⭐ Get your pet microchipped at our Veterinary Center (walk-ins available, appointments preferred)

Have fun with us this summer as we craft, learn, and hang out with adoptable dogs! There will be activities for all ages, Sippy Hippie will be selling refreshing beverages, and a BHS dog will drop in for guests to meet!
