🥳Happy birthday Lizzy!!💞

This sweet old lady is enjoying her birthday with plenty of prescription diet cookies, chin scritches, and a little bit of catnip!🤪

Over the years she has significantly calmed down. No longer are the days where she would pick fights with dogs in the lobby (thankfully!!!😭). Instead Lizzy opts to soak in attention from clients (she especially loves children now) and the occasional food room robbery (Temptations are just too tempting for her). She still loves her designated desk drawer. 😉 We love this sweet ol' Tortie with a 'tude! 🥰

🐶 It's National Rescue Dog Day! 🐾

There's something truly special about rescue dogs. These wonderful dogs often wait months, or even years, for their fur-ever homes. If you have ever adopted a rescue dog, then you know how these pups are so incredibly appreciative to receive your love and attention.

Did you know that you can still help dogs in shelters even if you are not in a position to adopt? Shelters are always in need of volunteers to help socialize with and exercise adoptable dogs, clean kennels, or do laundry and dishes!

Meet Natalie!

Natalie joined our hospital in April 2024! What drew her to this field was not only her love of animals, but also a strong passion to help others. She always wanted to work in vet med and couldn’t see herself anywhere else!

Besides the obvious of getting to work with the cutest animals, Natalie loves the versatility of the field. Veterinary medicine is so interconnected to public health and is constantly changing and advancing. She also loves being able to see amazing procedures and keep pets taken care of for their humans!

Natalie has a one year old flame point cat named Mazapán or “Appa” for short, although he has a million other silly nicknames like “moo moo”. He definitely keeps Natalie on her toes, but also loves to snuggle up in bed or on her desk while she's at work. His favorite treats are Churu’s and a small bit of whipped cream when they get Dutch Bros! He loves exploring the outdoors and going on trips where he can!

Meet Autumn!

Autumn has been with us since May 2024! Ever since she was little, she's always felt drawn to animals. There’s something in their eyes—so honest, so full of love. She wanted to be someone who could bring them comfort, someone who could help them feel safe and whole again.

Autumn loves when we get updates from our patients—when they’re improving, getting stronger, finding their way back to themselves. Sharing that relief with their owners, knowing they get a little more time, a little more peace… that’s everything.

Waiting to welcome her home every day are two cats, Flare and Canelo.
Flare is a diva. She makes sure you hear what she has to say, but when she wants cuddles, she melts into you and pretends she didn't yell at you a minute before.
Canelo is chaos wrapped in orange fur. He runs on walls, gives dramatic love bites, and constantly picks play fights with his sister. They couldn’t be more different, but together, they’re home!

Meet Kyana!

Kyana joined us in March of 2024. Her love for animals led her to the veterinary field. She is passionate about helping clients receive the best care for their pets! Her favorite part of working in veterinary medicine is seeing returning patients. Seeing our puppy/kitten patients grow up and our previously sick patients return happy and healthy for annual exams is so exciting! Kyana has one dog named Marley. He’s a senior pittie mix who loves cuddles! She also has 2 kitties- Lelouch and Ellie who get the craziest zoomies!

Meet Austin!

Austin joined the CSR crew in September of 2023. He started working in veterinary medicine to help animals, and enjoys making positive contributions to the field.

If you ask his what his favorite part about working in vet med is, Austin would say it's definitely the animals. He loves interacting with them and giving them what love he can. Being able to help a nervous dog feel more comfortable in the lobby is the best!

Back home, Austin has a Goldendoodle named Baylee. She's really good at judging you and giving you the side eye. 😂

Meet Serena!

Serena has been part of our team since 2021! Serena was always surrounded by pets growing up: dogs, cats, lizards, hermit crabs, and more! Working in the veterinary field came naturally to her. Having the chance to play with puppies and help sick animals is extremely rewarding. The diversity of cases we see is even more so! She is learning about something new every day.

Serena has one orange fluffball named Peepo. He is now 6 years old and still rowdy as ever! His favorite activities include jumping up and down his cat tree, biting her ankles while playing, and sitting on comic books/in comic book boxes. 😸
