We always encourage clients to pass by during walks for happy visits! It helps desensitize dogs to coming into the vet and leave with a happy experience and treats! 🐶🦴

Although vaccines and blood draws are a part of maintaining our patient’s health (and our own), it’s still not their favorite pastime (raise your hand if you look away when you’re getting a blood draw- ✋)

MEET THE TEAM- Nattalie! 🐾

Nattalie has been with us since January of last year as a veterinary assistant; say hi the next time she takes down your pet’s history at the start of your visit! 🐈‍⬛🐕

Nattalie’s love for animals started with her dad. He taught her to slow down, observe, and truly understand them; whether it’s observing a squirrel darting through the trees, a deer in a sunlit meadow, or a dog curled up in quiet comfort. From reptiles to aquatic life, he showed her that every creature deserves respect and kindness. 🐈🐩🐹🦊🐎

Now, as a vet assistant, she carries that same passion forward. Whether it’s a reactive pup, a nervous cat, or a pet full of energy, she treats every animal as if they’re her own. Her goal? To share that love, knowledge, and understanding with every client and their furry family member.

When she’s not at work, she’s in nature swimming in crystal-clear waters, skateboarding in the summer, or snowboarding in the winter.

As an owner of a bearded dragon, a cavapoo puppy named brownie, and 2 cats, Dante & Lucy- Nattalie’s life is never boring. She is lucky to have cuddles of all types & an energetic puppy to keep her on her toes. 🐍🐶

To unwind after a workday, Nattalie turns to art. Oil painting and colored pencil designs let her capture the beauty of the world, one stroke at a time. 🎨🖌️🖼️

Athe end of the day, it’s all about love; love for animals, love for nature, and love for the little moments that make life meaningful. 🐾🎨🌿

MEET THE TEAM - Kylee! 🌸

Kylee has been with us since April, and she’s made a great impression on both clients and her coworkers! She holds a degree in Theatre Production Design & Technology from Illinois State University.

Helps us in welcoming her back to the Midwest after some time in Seattle, where she acquired experience in veterinary medicine by working at an animal clinic and a pet daycare. 🩺🥼🐾🦴

Kylee shares, “I like being able to help clients and getting to know them and their pets. I love learning new things about veterinary medicine and being able to apply it as I interact with people through out the day. I like making a positive impact on people.”

Kylee not just talks the talk, she walks it 👏
She has an impressive knowledge in veterinary medicine; her front desk peers are grateful for her help communicating with our clients with their pet’s health in mind!

Kylee’s favorite activity to in her free time is to spend time with her loved ones and play with Margie, her ADORABLE tortoise kitty. 🐈🐈‍⬛ She also likes to travel and spend time outdoors. Tide pooling in Seattle is one thing she misses and enjoys doing in the PNW 🐚🌊

MEET THE TEAM - Welcome to the team Dessy!

Dessy just joined the team a few weeks ago as a CSR (welcome her to the NAAH team at the front desk) 👏
She also wants to develop her skills as a technician so she’s on double duty at times- a true trooper! 😽🐱🐶🐩

Dessy just graduated with a degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in Animal Sciences and is now pursuing her masters in Veterinary Science - what an icon 🥳🥳

Through her academic career, Dessy has had experience in livestock farming, research, and getting to know the financial side of owning a farm! 🐄 🐥

When Dessy isn’t around with furry and four legged companions, she’s spending time with her friends and enjoying doggy dates with her dogs- Charlie, Lei’la, & London! She loves teaching them new tricks to keep them engaged! 🐾

Congrats on joining the team Dessy 💕 We are excited to watch and support you to reach your goals and we wish you luck in your veterinary career!

MEET THE TEAM - DIANA!

Known as ‘Nana’ to her family and close friends. Diana is 20 years old and a recent grad from Fox College. Help us in congratulating Diana on her accomplishment! 🎓👩‍🎓🥳🎉

Diana’s interest in the veterinary medicine grew during highschool when Diana started volunteering at animal shelters. She worked with all sorts of animals from small to large. (Swipe to see a few 😉 we are impressed!)
Diana has a horse named Golondrina who she absolutely loves and adores. She doesn’t have any dogs or cats but she loves to dogsit when she can! 🐴🐎

Diana shares, “My favorite thing about being in vet med is connecting with patients and gaining their trust while trying to make them feel better. I love being in surgery, whether thats being sterile assistant or anesthetist. I’m excited to become certified soon and looking forward to learning & growing with this amazing team.” 🐱🐶🐈🐕‍🦺🐕🐈

We are impressed by Diana already and feel very lucky to have her on the team, we can’t wait to see her grow!
