Dear Bosly,

It’s been five days since we said goodbye. I miss you so, so much—and I love you even more.

You are the greatest love of my life.

You gave me a kind of love and companionship deeper than I ever knew was possible.

You gave me purpose: to advocate for animals as they are, to speak with them kindly, and to help others understand them better.

For 14 years, you were by my side through every hard day, every good day, and every quiet moment in between.

What I need most right now is you. But instead, you’ve given me something else—an entire community of kindhearted souls who understand just how powerful a dog’s love is & how deep the grief is when they’re gone.

I wish I could hug and kiss you just one more time. I know you fought to hold on for as long as you could, especially these past ten months. You knew I needed you. And now I have to learn how to go on without you.

I’ll try my best.

I miss you so much, my bubba. My Bosly. My Bosly Boo. My widdle girl. My little puppa.

Did you know that every 52 days equals a year in a dog’s life?

I can’t believe Bosly is 14 years old today—that’s 98 in dog years!

She has been the greatest gift of my life, teaching me so much about love, resilience, and the deep connection we share with animals.

I didn’t get the easygoing, go-anywhere dog—I got the dog who taught me patience, leadership, and the power of advocacy. She has shown me a kind of unconditional companionship I had never known before.

Every adventure, every challenge, every quiet moment together—she has been by my side for all of it. And now, as she has gotten older, I find myself holding on even tighter to the time we have left.

Watching her age has been one of the hardest things. It feels like we woke up one day and everything changed overnight.

Since last summer, we’ve been through a lot—countless vet visits, thousands of dollars in tests, treatments, and medications—trying to find ways to support her as best as I can. I stopped keeping track of how much I’ve spent because it didn’t matter. She’s worth everything.

As we celebrate Bosly, it’s a reminder of how precious our time with our dogs truly is. Be present with your dog—take long walks, give big hugs, and spoil them with treats! 🎂

Happy 14th Birthday to our Co-Founder! None of us would be here without you, Bosly! ❤️
