Circa 2015… baby Calla, the start of Calla’s Critter Rescue (unofficially)🥹
I was going down memory lane with one of my oldest coworkers, friends & foster who adopted a kitten from my first ever litter of bottle raised kittens. Lefty (the little white dude) is now 11 years old. I don’t think I’ve ever shared these photos or the in depth story of how this all started, so here it goes. Never in a million years did I think life would take me where it did. The Calla in 2015 was fully intending to be a veterinarian by now but life took me in a different direction to better help the animals of this world. With a ton of love, help, support and determination something so simple and so small became so big and so impactful. What started out as 3 kittens turned into 100’s being helped & saved. I just wanted to share a little bit about my story, my love for animals, my love for taking something helpless and broken & piecing it back together. At the end of the day, this is what I was called to do & I so enjoy every second of it.
