Feeding your pet seems simple until you realize every pet has opinions, habits, and a stomach that may or may not agree with your plans.
The best place to start is with consistency
Feed your pet the right amount for their size, age, and activity level. Try not to guess based on the “sad eyes” measurement system, because most pets would absolutely convince you they are starving five minutes after dinner.
A few simple feeding tips:
Use a quality food that fits your pet’s needs.
Keep meals on a regular schedule.
Measure portions instead of free-pouring.
Limit table scraps.
Keep fresh water available.
Pay attention to changes in appetite, weight, or digestion.
And when in doubt, ask your veterinarian what is best for your specific pet.
Good nutrition helps pets feel better, move better, and enjoy their daily routines more comfortably.
Because feeding them well is one of the simplest ways we care for them.
