I believe some souls do not enter our lives by accident. They arrive quietly, without promises, without explanations, and yet they leave footprints so deep that time itself cannot erase them.

Some bonds are stronger than words. Stronger than distance. Stronger than the passing of years. They are felt in the silence between heartbeats, in the memories that return when we least expect them, and in the invisible thread that keeps two souls connected no matter where life takes them.

Animals teach us this better than anyone. They never ask for perfection. They never care about success, status, or appearance. They love with a purity that many people spend a lifetime searching for. A look, a touch, a gentle nudge of a nose, the sound of familiar hooves approaching from afar—sometimes that is enough to remind us what unconditional love truly means.

And when they leave, they never really disappear.

Their favorite places remain. Their habits remain. Their presence lingers in the quiet corners of our hearts. We still turn our heads, expecting to see them. We still remember the warmth they brought into ordinary days. We still hear echoes of moments that once felt endless.

Maybe that is because real love does not end when a life ends.

Maybe every soul we deeply love becomes a part of us forever. A part of our story. A part of our journey. A part of every tomorrow that follows.

I like to believe that somewhere beyond what we can see, there is a promise woven into the fabric of existence. A promise that true connections are never lost. They simply wait. Patiently. Faithfully.

And if there are other lifetimes, other roads, other beginnings yet to come, I know one thing for certain.

I would recognize you again.

Not by your face.
Not by your name.
Not by the sound of your voice.

I would recognize you by the feeling of home you carry within you.

And I would search for you, over and over, through every season, every distance, every lifetime.

Because some souls are worth finding again.

Way to go, Sweet Fig Farm! 🎉🐴

Huge congratulations to all of our riders this weekend — the hard work, dedication, and growth are showing every time you step into the arena!

✨ Jenna clocked her fastest time yet with a 16.4, and this was only her 4th barrel race with Bobby! The improvement every run has been amazing to watch. This team will be one to look out for!

✨ Hayden earned Most Improved from last Midland. She continues to put in so much determination and hard work with Ringer, who definitely doesn’t make it easy for her — but she keeps showing up and pushing forward!

✨ Tara finished the weekend with a great run and is getting back into a strong routine with Rye!

✨ Prudence had great runs on Ruby, and Fonzi was piloted around beautifully for only their second time out together.

✨ Nory and I are really starting to put the pieces together this year. After some tough luck with a down barrel Friday night, we came back Saturday to make a clean, correct run!

So proud of this team and all the progress being made. The future is looking bright! 💛🐎

✨We had an exceptional weekend! ✨

There were numerous firsts this weekend, including Jenna's first entry with her new horse Bobby, Ari and Hayden's debut in their first-ever race, and Tara's return to the arena after a season-long hiatus, making two great runs. Pru and Ruby are continuing to achieve consistent and clean runs. Nory and I delivered our best run yet, securing a spot in the money.

We are deeply grateful for the supportive family we have established, It truly takes a village, and we are thrilled to be part of this one.

Congratulations to all on a job well done this weekend! This marks a great beginning to the 2026 season! 🎉
