We are on our way home from the Dachshund Club of America National Specialty in Missouri! What a great week we had!

Sunny is one of our retiring girls. She will be 6 years old in August. She will be looking for an experienced dachshund home who will allow her time to settle in. She was born here, and has been to 2 different homes before coming back to me so she will need some time to bond with new people. She get along great with males and females as well as cats. She would probably prefer living in a home without large dogs. I have not seen her around small children, so a kid free home would be ideal. She was raised in a home with a young girl though so should be fine with visiting kids. She is a sweet, silly girl who would love nothing more than to sleep on someone's bed with them! Then first photo is current. She has been shaved down so her coat is pretty soft now.

She has already been spayed and will be ready to go the end of May

She will be a hairy girl, so will require extra grooming but dang isn't she cute!?

All 3 of these puppies are wirehaired. Pet homes tend to want puppies that look like the one in the middle! While she is cute, her coat will likely be softer and more profuse requiring more grooming. The one on the left will eventually get a moderate amount of furnishings that should not mat and be easily maintained. It is interesting to me that they are all littermates and yet so different!
