Update, little lady had a vet check, abscess was cleaned and she received antibiotics and pain meds.

She is the sweetest little thing, she is going to stay with me a few days for wound to heal before going back home.

We are at a loss for what is happening with this colony. All wounds on same side, in same spot 🧐
It’s not from fighting or predators and not from teeth which we originally thought. Hopefully we have no more injuries.

Morning, I’m appealing to our community for help. The colony we care for has been suffering from abscesses and we have cared for all except a few that have been healthy, but this morning we noticed another with an open abscess and we are completely out of funds. Without treatment and antibiotics it will surely become infected.
We are not exactly sure what is causing this. We have monitored, set up cameras to maybe catch a predator or cat fighting but nothing.

Please if you can spare even a little it will help.

These sweet babies are just trying to survive and sometimes we need to step up and show empathy.

If you have a cat tree with the twine wrap please be very careful that your cat is not ingesting it, I lost my sweet baby boy from this. Unknown to me he was chewing and ingesting the fiber and it is not digestible. Over time it had balled in his intestines and created blockages.
Surgery was performed to remove but sadly he passed. My heart is broken.
