We are a retired hobby breeder of the AKK. As of 8/2018, we are now located in Eastern Washington. We strive for the best AKK in health and temperament.

We are a small hobby breeder in the Last Frontier where this breed was developed back in the 70's. We have 2 female, one breeding male, and Loki my neutered male who made me fall for this beautiful breed. Our AKK are part of the family and reside in our home with us. We are proud to be the breeder in Alaska.

Our Story

We have been small hobby breeder in the Last Frontier where this breed was developed back in the 70's. We have since retired. We have 2 females, and two males. Loki was my first AKK who made me fall for this beautiful breed. We strive for the best AKK in health and temperament. Our AKK are part of the family and reside in our home with us. All our new owners become part of our extended Haaken’s Family’s. We miss having pups, but our pack is getting older, and we are enjoying the retired life. :)
