Meet Ping (black boy), Pong (B&W boy), and Canasta (tabby girl). These fluffy kitties are 5 month old and were rescued with their mom Mahjong. They are enjoying their time in a fun foster home but are ready for the home life!

Meet Gouda, this week's dog of the week! Gouda is a 4-year-old, 70-pound, Box/Bulldog mix and recently came to us from McKamey Animal Center. When our manager went to meet dogs at McKamey, Gouda was one of the only dogs that was not barking at the door for attention. He was sitting on his bed with the saddest look in his eyes and she just knew he needed a change of environment...and how could we resist that face!!!

Although we might not know all of Gouda's past, we know McKamey found him full of fleas with evidence that he had lived on a large chain at some point in time. Fortunately he tested negative for Heartworms!

Since Gouda has been with us, he has really come out of his shell! He loves going on walks, often getting the zoomies when you greet him with his harness. He does great with the other PPC dogs on walks. Even when he is in the front of the pack, he will turn around, sit down, and wait for the rest of the group to catch up to him and his walker. He LOVES swimming and is also very gentle when it comes to taking treats, getting pets, or riding in the car!

Since Gouda had a rough start, we believe he hasn't experienced the joys of being a dog! He does show some signs of hesitancy when presented with new activities, treats, or toys...but he seems to be enjoying his new life so far! We are so excited for Gouda to find his furever home and continue getting loved by his humans!

We had the BEST time yesterday celebrating at Slobberbones Pet Bakery & Bath for their 3rd birthday! Jean-Pierre, Layla, Pixie, Sam Elliott, and Muffin Man all made an appearance and Sammie even got the spa treatment from his foster dad by getting to try out their dog washing station. Thank you to everyone who helped transport so our dogs could have a fun day out and thank you Slobberbones for including us in the party!
