Happy Monday, everyone. So, I have a question for any of you who might care to answer. I'm putting together a signature course that helps folks learn mental fitness skills to improve life enjoyment, relationships, mood regulation, productivity, etc. The course will likely run 6 -12 months (undecided) to allow for lots of time for practice and to receive feedback and still work at your own pace.
The course is intended to be a great alternative to therapy for folks who want a skills-based approach that they can learn in the comfort of their own home rather than visit a therapist's office (or in addition to). There will be a live portion as well for further teaching, problem-solving, and answering questions. Focusing on mental fitness skills works well for those who are not therapy-minded for whatever reason but still looking to improve life skills.
Now, here's my question. Would you kindly provide suggestions by letting me know the top three areas you see folks struggle with in terms of mental/emotional functioning (this can be what you notice in yourself or for family, friends, coworkers, spouses, children, etc.)? What do you think is important to include in the course? For example, is this needing help to manage anxiety, deal with mood swings or depression, handle conflict in your family, learn boundaries, manage work stress, complete an important project, effectively cope with grief, or some other issue?
I am all about making sure this course hits the mark and is really useful for folks, so I would love, love, love any feedback you want to provide. Please feel free to pass this on to others as I would love as much feedback and as many suggestions as possible. I hope to launch in Spring or early Summer.
Also, I will be welcoming up to 50 folks to join the course at NO COST in order to beta-test the material and provide feedback on the lessons. While the course will not be expensive, obviously there will be a cost due to the time I'll be spending creating the content and hosting live Q & A. Just let me know if you want to join the beta group.
Thanks so much!
Here's my "happy thought" for today: Looking forward to gardening again come Spring! Yes, this was off ONE tomato plant at the end of the season (had to pick all the rest before it frosted).
