We are so happy to announce that our beautiful Remi has been adopted!♥️🙏🏽

At seven years old, Remi wasn’t looking for a life filled with excitement or adventure. She was looking for something much more meaningful. Someone to love. Someone to follow from room to room. Someone whose footsteps she could walk beside and whose heart she could call home.

With her beautiful brindle coat and distinctive white star on her chest, Remi has always been a special girl. But what makes her truly unforgettable is the love she has to give.

Remi is the kind of dog who finds happiness in life’s simplest moments. A peaceful walk, a car ride with her favorite person, a cozy spot on the couch, or a belly rub after greeting you with her sweet little paws resting on your knees.

She doesn’t ask for much. Just to be near the people she loves.

And now, this devoted little girl has found someone who wants all those same things with her.

Someone who will appreciate her gentle spirit, her unwavering loyalty, and the beautiful companionship that comes from loving a dog like Remi.

No more waiting for her person to come along. No more wondering when it will be her turn.

Her forever has finally begun.

To Remi’s wonderful adoptive family, thank you for seeing the beauty in this sweet girl and giving her the loving home she deserves. We hope your years together are filled with peaceful mornings, happy car rides, endless belly rubs, and all those little moments that become the most treasured memories.

And to her foster family, thank you for loving Remi and helping her find her happily ever after.

There will be raffles, costumes, lots of dog-friendly fun and, most importantly, a chance to come together for the bulldogs who need us.

Every dollar raised helps Bullies 2 The Rescue provide veterinary care, food, medications and everything our dogs need while they wait for their forever families.

I’m in the Recovery Room - I’ll Be Available Soon💕

Our sweet 2-year-old Romeo has had a rough road since coming to Bullies 2 The Rescue. But today, we’re so happy to share some GOOD NEWS!

Romeo was surrendered because his skin, ears, and eyes were chronically inflamed and infected. His owner could no longer manage his medical needs, and this poor boy desperately needed help.

Anyone familiar with bulldogs knows how important proper nutrition can be, especially when dealing with allergies and recurring infections.

When Courtney took Romeo in, she introduced a raw diet and probiotics. It took several attempts with different proteins and probiotics before she found a combination that started working for him.

But just when things were looking up, Romeo developed aspiration pneumonia. Already weakened from battling his previous infections, he faced a difficult recovery.

After months of setbacks, treatments, and fighting to get healthy, Romeo has FINALLY turned the corner! He’s looking and feeling SO much better, and we couldn’t be happier for this sweet boy!

He’s not quite ready for adoption, but we’re hopeful he’ll be available before Thanksgiving!

And whoever adopts this boy is getting a sweetheart! Romeo is gentle, friendly, housetrained, and well-mannered. He’s good with children, dogs, and even cats!

Romeo’s care has been costly, and our veterinary bills are sky-high right now.

Sasha came to Bullies 2 The Rescue from a cruelty case in Maryland, and after taking time to come out of her shell, this sweet 8-year-old is now all about soft beds, car rides, and happy butt wiggles! 🚗💤 Recently, we received the tough news that Sasha has been diagnosed with cancer, so she is officially joining our permanent hospice program as a lifelong member of the B2TR family. ❤️

While we can’t change her diagnosis and don't know how much time she has left, we are determined to make every moment count with plenty of love, cozy naps, and car rides. 💕🐾✨

Providing ongoing medical care, medications, and special comfort for hospice dogs is a big undertaking, and we need our community's help to keep them thriving.

An update on our little 8 year old
Tucker♥️

He had to have surgery and his foster Mom reports….

“Surgery went well, the hiatal hernia was very large, but he did well overall. First night of recovery he did better than we expected. This am he was able to tolerate his meds and had an appetite! All good signs. He is this am at the vets office for a follow up X-ray and monitoring and back home this afternoon. The vets and staff at Seagrove Animal Hospital and Creedmoor Road Animal Hospital have gone above and beyond with his care, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
On the road to recovery for this good boy. Send all your prayers and good energy his way. And if you can please consider donating to Bullies 2 The Rescue 🫶🏼 giving chances to awesome dogs like Tucker to live a good and happy life.

Please Welcome 8-Year-Old Nelly to the Bullies 2 The Rescue Family!💕

For years, Nelly knew what it meant to be part of a family. He was loved, cuddled, and welcomed onto the couch.

But as his health declined, his world grew smaller.

Nelly suffers from chronic skin allergies, recurring infections, and painful irritation. He’s also partially blind in both eyes, despite previous eyelid surgery.

As his medical needs became increasingly difficult to manage, the couch he once enjoyed was replaced by a pen in a spare bedroom.

According to his surrender form, Nelly spent nearly all his time there, day and night, coming out only to eat and go potty.

Imagine being a loving, affectionate dog who once enjoyed snuggling with his family, only to spend most of his days alone.

Not because he was a bad dog, but because his medical needs had become overwhelming.

And now, at eight years old, Nelly gets another chance.

We’re told he’s a sweet, mellow, affectionate boy who loves people and gets along with dogs, cats, and children.

But first, we have some work to do.

Nelly needs veterinary care, treatment for his skin conditions, an eye examination, and a carefully managed diet to help control his allergies.

And we need your help!

Some dogs come ready to conquer the world, while others, like Blummer, are just starting to discover the joy of safety and love. Rescued from a cruelty case, this three-year-old sweetheart has so much love to give.

Blummer enjoys the simple pleasures: a soft spot to nap, a human to snuggle, and the occasional peanut butter treat. She’s recently discovered furniture, needing a little help to lounge on the couch, but she loves the idea!

Toys are new to her, but with encouragement, she enjoys chewing on her Benebone. A laid-back houseguest, she’s housetrained, well-mannered, and a great car companion, happily curling up in the passenger seat.

Walks are leisurely for Blummer—she prefers to stop and appreciate life rather than rush. Still adjusting, she can be a bit timid but is learning that kindness exists.

Currently, she’s being treated for an eye ulcer, and her ideal home is a quiet, predictable space with someone who enjoys a slower pace. Blummer could thrive as an only dog or with a calm canine companion.

Most importantly, she needs someone who understands that trust takes time. In return, you’ll receive a loving girl who adores snuggles and companionship. If you have room on your couch and in your heart, Blummer would love to meet you! 🐾❤️
