🖤🧡 HAPPY HOWL-O-WEEN! 🧡🖤

Before the tricks and treats begin, here are a few friendly reminders to keep your pets safe:

🍫 Keep the candy for the humans! Chocolate, xylitol-containing sweets, and other Halloween treats can be dangerous for pets.

🚪 Beware of escape artists! With trick-or-treaters coming and going, make sure your pets are secure and wearing proper identification.

🎃 Costumes aren't for everyone! If your pet isn't feeling festive, skip the costume and let them celebrate in their birthday suit!

🐈‍⬛ Keep your kitties safe! Consider keeping cats indoors, especially with all the extra activity and excitement.

We hope everyone has a safe and happy Halloween! Show off your pet's costumes in the comments 👻🐾

NEW MONTHLY MILESTONE 🐾🎉

📣 October officially takes the lead as our busiest surgical month of 2026 with 703 spays & neuters!

That's 703 dogs and cats spayed/neutered in just one month, helping prevent countless unwanted litters and making a lasting impact on pet overpopulation throughout West Virginia 💚

💜 We are a small but mighty team of just 13 dedicated individuals, working tirelessly to meet the overwhelming demand for affordable veterinary care. Behind every surgery are countless hours of hard work, compassion, and teamwork. We couldn't be prouder of what our staff continues to accomplish!

🐾 As proud as we are of this milestone, we know there's still so much work to be done! Thank you to our clients, rescue partners, donors, and supporters for helping us continue our mission of making quality veterinary care accessible to more animals and families.

⭐️ Visit www.FixEmClinic.org for information regarding our services, pricing, scheduling, FAQs, medical records, and more! With limited phone lines and a busy front desk, we encourage everyone to utilize our website whenever possible.

⭐️ Want to help us keep doing what we do? Monetary donations + donations of everyday supplies like paper towels, laundry detergent, distilled water, trash bags, wet cat food, cat litter, and copy paper help us keep operating costs down and our services affordable! www.FixEmClinic.org/ways-to-give

🧡🌳 The Lorax speaks for the trees.. but today, he’s at the clinic helping kitties like these! 🐾

Even the Lorax knows the importance of keeping pets happy, healthy, and spayed/neutered — meanwhile, this kitty seems a little suspicious of our newest employee.. or maybe he’s just wondering what happened to all the Tuffula Trees 😹

📣 November Spay/Neuter Appointments 📣

All available November spay/neuter appointments will be released online through our website on a first come, first serve basis.

🗓 Thursday, October 29th
⏰ 12:00 PM (Noon)

A FEW IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
• If you are unable to secure an appointment, please continue checking the website regularly. If another client cancels or reschedules, that appointment will automatically become available online in real-time.
• If you are attempting to book an appointment online, please understand that another client may be trying to reserve that exact same appointment slot at the same time. Unfortunately, whichever client completes the booking process first will secure the appointment, and the system will automatically cancel the duplicate request. This is an automated feature of our scheduling software and is not something our staff can manually control.
• Please allow up to 72 business hours for appointment approval. Receiving a pending appointment request does not guarantee the appointment until it has been reviewed and approved by staff.

⭐️ To keep our phone lines available for surgery patient owners and clients currently in the clinic, we kindly ask that scheduling questions be directed to EMAIL: [email protected]

PLEASE READ ALL the graphic below carefully for additional scheduling details, deposits, approval times, and surgery information. ⬇️

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue working to improve access to affordable spay/neuter services throughout our community. 💜🐾

We wrapped up Appreciation Week with a fun evening of creativity! 🎨✨

It was so nice to step away from the clinic, share some laughs, and enjoy spending time together outside of our busy workdays — even though we were missing a few members of our pack, and definitely wished they could have joined us. 🐾

Our team works incredibly hard every day, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the compassion, dedication, and heart they bring to the clinic and our patients!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this week so special and to Uncork & Create for such a fun experience — 10/10 would recommend! 💜💚
