🐾 Advanced Surgical Options for Your Dog 🐾

At Valley West Veterinary Hospital, we are proud to offer LOVE (Laparoscopic Ovariectomy) Spays, a minimally invasive alternative to traditional spay surgery. This advanced procedure is associated with smaller incisions, reduced post-operative discomfort, and a faster recovery for many patients.

For deep-chested breeds, we also strongly recommend discussing a prophylactic gastropexy at the time of spay. Gastropexy significantly reduces the risk of gastric dilatation-volvulus (GDV), commonly known as bloat, a life-threatening condition that can occur without warning.

By combining these procedures during a single anesthetic event, we can provide preventative care while minimizing additional recovery time.

Our goal is to offer the most up-to-date surgical options and individualized care for every patient, helping pets live longer, healthier lives.
