Hershey is a 15 month old chocolate lab mix. She became a mama to 7 puppies while she was a young puppy herself. She is friendly, gentle, playful and sweet. AFH was donated unclaimed airpods, kindles, headphones and a few other items.
We are going to make this a fundraiser! They are highly discounted, even for gently used items.
Here's what you need to do. I will have the items TODAY, 8/23, 12-3pm, at the adoption event at the PetSmart in Bristow, 9970 Sowder Village Square, Manassas, VA. Or send an email to [email protected] (that is NET not ORG) tell Annette what item(s) you would like to purchase. Once you get an answer from her, you are going to donate the amount to aforeverhome.org and send a snapshot of your receipt (or arrange to bring cash or check). Then you must pick it up yourself either at an adoption event or at her home in Herndon. If you do not pick up in a reasonable amount of time (say, 4 weeks), the item will go to the next person in line for that item.
If there is a problem with the item or if you deem it unacceptable, you may return the item for another one or something comparable. If there are no items left, we will consider other options.
All donations will not be refunded. After all, this is a fundraiser. Consider these "gifts for donating." Each item has been cleaned, factory reset and charged up. Be one of the first so you have choices.

These two beautiful pups are 4 month old cocker spaniel/beagle mixes (likely with Plott hound). They are sweet, gentle, and calm. Great starter dogs for any family! They are good with other dogs. Our Story

AFH was founded in 2002 by a small group of experienced rescuers. Our goal was to change the idea of rescue from just finding and placing dogs in homes to finding A Forever Home for every dog and pup in need.

We started our rescue with a single foster home, a yard sale, and a personal credit card. We spent countless hours transporting and caring for our dogs; running adoption events and our website. We conducted home checks, vet checks and interviewed adopters for each and every dog. Our rescue takes pride in ensuring that each of our pets receives all medical care needed regardless of costs. We also focus on educating adopters about the needs of their dogs, including medical care, socialization and training.

We have now matured to over 2,000 volunteers who do a variety of jobs - conduct home-checks and interviews, drive transports, run adoption events, hold fundraisers, do community outreach, run our social media and website, foster dogs, and manage our finances and paperwork. Yet, our dedication to "Forever" has never changed. We remain a foster home only rescue and have placed over 17,000 needy pets into loving, forever homes! In addition, over the years we have helped countless rural shelters, transported thousands of homeless pets to safety, provided assistance during major disasters such as Hurricanes Katrina and Sandy, helped reform shelters, and assisted in shutting down puppy mills and hoarding situations.

We are grateful for volunteers, adopters, donors, collaborators and supporters - and welcome you to join our organization!
