Dogs never leave us guessing how they feel.
It’s there in the tail that starts wagging before we’re even through the door. In the excited spins when it’s time for a walk. In the favorite toy they proudly bring over. In the gentle nudge asking for one more scratch behind the ears.
Their love isn’t measured or complicated. It’s wholehearted, honest, and beautifully unfiltered.
And somehow, they bring out that same kind of love in us.
We celebrate their wins like they’re our own. We learn their favorite games, remember every little quirk, and happily rearrange our days to make room for one more walk, one more cuddle, one more adventure together.
Loving a dog has a way of making us show up with our whole hearts, too.
That’s what we’re celebrating this National Dog Month. Not just the incredible love dogs give so freely, but the extraordinary bond that grows when we give that same love right back.
Here’s to loving our dogs as wholeheartedly as they love us.
