Balanced Dog Trainer with over fifteen years of experience training all breeds and all challenges. I work with all breeds, ages, and issues.

I work diligently to teach both the dog and human a humane and effective way to communicate, using tools (slip lead, prong collar and remote collars), body language, praise, and reinforcement for good behavior. I am passionate about helping those humans who are willing to make a lifestyle change for themselves and their dog; owners who are committed to helping their dog be the best they can be by creating a calm dynamic between them! In addition, I take a special interest in fearful dogs!

On Mondays we relax! Otter brought his older sister, Moe to our last session to learn all about the off switch. They did an amazing job learning how to do absolutely nothing! We are going to utilize place to chip away at Moe's anxiety and to help cultivate a calmer living space for all the two and four leggers in the home. So very proud of this awesome family! Keep up the great work, Haylee and Daniel 👏🏻

Foster dog Friday, brought to you by Yoshi! This dude began learning the place command at our last session and shortly after, headed to a foster to adopt home 🫶🏻 Word on the street is he is doing fantastic with his foster family, settling in to the new environment and continues to work on his skills. We are rooting for you, Yoshi! Keep up the great work 👏🏻

The Moose changed up his whole walk vibe at our last session! We traded pulling and haphazard energy for a heel, connection and peace at both ends of the leash. Moose and his family are getting out of the heat for a bit so he will be practicing his new walk in a new environment as well. He is crushing it so far! Keep up the great work team, Moose 🫎💖

Mondays are for finding calm 😴 Bruce is a one year old Pittie mix who has trouble managing his big feelings and has been making naughty choices with his canine siblings. To be fair, his sister Daisy also has the same challenges, we just chose to start unpacking with Bruce first😉 . We want to work on moving Bruce's overall state of mind, so that he's able to do more thinking and remaining in the moment, versus being impulsive. We are also having the humans tune in to do more advocating for all the dogs in the home so that the responsibility of governing doesn't fall on any one of the dogs. That's our job! It's going to be a super slow process to get these pups to a calmer headspace and overhaul the pack, but we are digging in! Keep up the great work, Turley family 👏🏻
