We had a fun session working on Sophie's Leave It and counter surfing. While she managed to get part of the sandwich it still offer a great opportunity to expand from leaving dropped food to another real life scenario.

Nova definitely displays the most adorable Leave It. She learned the expectation within 2 attempts and quickly began learning her hand signal for Leave It. Within 20 minutes she was happily focusing on her Handler instead of the irresistible treat that was dropped.

Always practice your Leave It! 😆 Our girls are always in the kitchen when I'm cooking, they each have their spot as I maneuver around them and I love their presence. Never thought I'd love a dog in the kitchen but Liesl and Gretel never beg or counter surf.....now. That took a bit of work to establish. Liesl was curious as we rarely have seafood however she backed herself away after a good sniff because we practice Leave It often. I promise all of your work pays off one day.

Wahooooo Sophie!!! Her Handler worked on redirecting and handling a powerful dog during her session. After a bit of practice to overcome the excitement and set the rules this duo pulled off some magic! Learning HOW and when to respond to another dog approaching is so important.

Ollie took the backseat and let Nala shine during their session. They are respecting the kitchen and chicken coop boundaries beautifully and working so hard on ignoring guests as they enter. Cupcakes and counter surfing are a work in progress. 🤭

Ollie looked dashing after one of his young Handlers groomed him, she has some serious skills! During his session we worked on his Recall, Place, and Leave It. He was so good during his session that we were able to work with Nala on building some confidence as well. And of course, Max tax for the week. 😊
