RAIN - Rescuing Animals in Need RAIN is a fully volunteer run, 501c3 rescue located in Chandler and Tempe Arizona We are a non-profit, no-kill rescue.

Rescuing Animals In Need is a volunteer run group and thus we do not own or operate any kennels, we rely predominantly on volunteers and foster homes for our rescued animals, however if you need to contact us please see the details set out below. Meow from Akira- a 7 year old Bengal. She loves to cuddle with people and lay on furry blankets, adores fishing pole toys and kickers full of catnip, and likes to play in running water. Freeze dried chicken treats are her favorite. She is a talker and likes to be up on counters to check out what’s going on, so liking a vocal kitty and being okay with cats in counters or shelves is critical. She likes being the center of attention, so she would do best as an only cat. She tolerates dogs once she gets used to them. She is an indoor cat, but likes going outside in the yard on a leash. Loves belly scratches (yes, really) and is a champion biscuit maker. She is soft year round and purrs like a jet engine. ❤️

Janus is our Senior Sweetheart- she is so beautiful with her tortie markings. As is expected of a distinguished lady of older years, she knows what she wants and will let you know when there is something she desires.
She’s good with other dogs and other cats, doesn’t have any dislikes she’s a pretty easy going cat.
She’s good with kids and has patience, so she’s really the purr-fect addition to any home! Meet her at the Chandler cat center. ❤️

Meow from Noodle Soup- a calico cutie-
Personality- very outgoing, friendly, playful with kitty toys but likes to rest after a few minutes of play, curious - she has not met a stranger she doesn’t like! very docile and calm kitty.

Likes/loves-loves to be sitting in lap or right next to you watching tv, sleeping by your ear or on your chest, ear and butt scratches doesn’t mind being held, all cat toys, looking out windows - kitty hammock in a window would be heaven for her! Loves bird watching and sunbathing. Shes at our Tempe Petsmart cat center. ❤️

Meow from Romeo-he lives up to his name and is a complete lovebug. Cuddling is his preferred activity, especially around bedtime. He’s not a huge fan of wet food, but drinks well from a water bowl for hydration. He does like to play, though it takes some enticing. His favorite toys are the ones he can bat around himself, but he specifically likes pickle shaped catnip-filled ones (I’ve had to replace this SEVERAL times.) He likes a calm living environment and A LOT of attention. He’s the perfect fit for somebody who likes to stay home and cuddle a purring space-heater while watching TV.

We believe he would thrive best in a single-animal household where he can get all the attention - Romeo wants to be the center of your world!

He is usually wary of people at first, but once he’s warmed up, he’s a lap cat. More experienced cat owners will likely get him to warm up faster. We recommend older children or adults only. He can be very on edge at times and is startled easily by younger kids. ❤️
