2025 Shop Update and Prices

It's the eve of IL deer season opener. I have made good headway on last years deer, with all of last years bowkills (before gun season) already home and hanging on customers walls. I am well into my 1st gun season deer and will keep picking away at those until I get busy skinning as the next few weeks unfold. But, in general, the vast majority of 2024 shoulder mounts will be done in less than a year and I expect to see similar results for the incoming 2025 deer.

Current Prices for the 2025 season (50% deposit required)
-Whitetail/Mule Deer......$960
-Pronghorn.......$1060
Wall pedestals, floor pedestals, and other special requests are subject to additional charges and prices will be quoted accordingly.

-Whitetail European
-Clean Only.....$60
-Clean and Whiten w/hanger......$150
-Clean and Whiten with flat Walnut Panel......$200
(Other skull species priced per request)

I'M STILL NOT ACCEPTING ANY BIRDS OR OTHER ANIMALS AT THIS TIME

I will be accepting a LIMITED NUMBER of NEW clients for shoulder mounts. But I will accept European/skull mounts from anyone.
Once again, I will only accept animals to mount that I can skin off the skull myself. So if you are going on an out of state hunt, check with me in advance to make plans on how to deal with your trophy for the trip back.

The walk-in cooler will be available for use as space is available. It's free to use for anyone that is having the animal mounted here. Or $10 a day if you just need a cold place to store it until you can get it taken care of.

As usual, hours are by appointment only. Please call ahead to make arrangements to stop by at 618-249-8050. I'm sure I am forgetting something, so don't hesitate to message here or call with questions.

I don't mount many Mulies anymore since I quit taking animals already caped off the face. But once in a while I get a good one like this. Quite a specimen for DIY public land.

I’m speaking on behalf of taxidermists all over the country…..I know some of you are on this page too.

TO OUR CUSTOMERS:

We know the weather has cooled down and it makes it feel like deer season is almost here. But that doesn’t mean it’s time to start calling your taxidermist just to “check the status of my mount” or “get an update” or “see if you tried calling and I missed the call”.

We do want paid and we will call you when your deer is ready. I promise. So fight that urge just a little while longer and give us a chance to call you first. Especially when it’s still months before your quoted completion estimate.
