Torrential rain during the night & this morning. Jasper doesn't like to p*e in the rain. I did coax him on to the porch but he wouldn't go p*e. A soaking wet Jasper raced past me to his spot on the bed. So, a quick towel off & wrapped in my flannel shirt. Perfect time for me to crawl back in bed for snuggles. ☔️💗☔️

This morning I noticed the Queen was in hunt mode at the far end of the yard. I also noticed distressed robin parents low in the tree line & fence. Well sh*t...there has to be a nest close by. I found it. There are 4 babies. So, the Queen gets the harness & leash until those babies leave the yard. Extra garden fencing was used to shore up the area around the nest. Juju is NOT amused. She's even less impressed at Hubbell's attempts to assure her that all is well. Hopefully this will only be for a few days. 🐦💗🐦💗🐦

Teaching Jasper how to play frisbee. He's been watching Hubbell play. I've never had a pointer interested in frisbee. Jasper still isn't quite sure about it, but it's time spent with him. Celebrating our first full summer together. 💗
