A few days late to making this post, but October 19 marked two years of Bloomin’ Ranch and we can hardly believe how far this dream has come!
Year two was truly project driven. When we purchased the ranch, we knew we had our work cut out for us but we were not prepared for just how much needed to be done!
One of our biggest projects has been replacing the fencing. Every inch needed to be replaced, and we are now nearly finished! Reaching this point has taken countless hours, plenty of hard work, and a whole lot of determination.
We also added a skid steer to the ranch, and it quickly became an essential part of our everyday work. It has helped us tackle project after project, and we truly cannot imagine this journey without it.
Another exciting milestone was launching our goat grazing business by becoming affiliates of Goats on the Go®. We grew our herd from about 20 goats to 64 in the last year! Our goats travel to properties throughout the area, helping clear overgrown weeds, poison ivy, and invasive species in an environmentally friendly way. Watching this new venture take root and grow has been one of the highlights of year two.
Two of our employees also celebrated their one year anniversaries working on the farm! Congratulations, Courtney and Bryan! Thank you both for everything you do. We appreciate you more than you know!
Through every project, challenge, and new adventure, we have been incredibly grateful for the people who have helped us along way, please know how much it means to us. Bloomin’ Ranch would not be the same without you!
