🌡️🐶 Hot Weather Alert: Protect Your Dog from Heat Stroke! 🐶🌡️

As temperatures rise, our furry friends are at risk of heat stroke, a serious and potentially life-threatening condition.

⚠️ Signs of Heat Stroke in Dogs:
• Excessive panting
• Drooling more than usual
• Bright red gums or tongue
• Weakness or lethargy
• Vomiting or diarrhea
• Stumbling or collapse
• Seizures

💡 Prevention Tips:
✅ Always provide fresh, cool water
✅ Keep pets indoors during the hottest parts of the day
✅ Walk dogs early in the morning or later in the evening
✅ Never leave your pet in a parked car—even for a few minutes
✅ Make sure your dog has access to shade when outdoors

🚨 If you suspect your dog is suffering from heat stroke, move them to a cool area immediately, offer small amounts of water, and contact our clinic right away. Quick action can save a life.

Let's keep our pets safe, comfortable, and healthy all summer long! ❤️🐾

🐾 Hot Pavement = Hurt Paws 🐾

As temperatures rise, asphalt and concrete can become dangerously hot for our dogs' feet. Even when the air temperature feels comfortable, pavement can heat up enough to cause painful burns in just a few minutes.

A simple test: Place the back of your hand on the pavement for 7 seconds. If it's too hot for your hand, it's too hot for your dog's paws.

Try walking your pets during the early morning or evening hours, stick to grassy areas when possible, and always bring water along for the trip.

Let's keep our four-legged friends safe, comfortable, and happy this summer! 🐶❤️
