Angus & Friends Angus & Friends is a 501(c)(3) non-profit in Castro Valley, CA dedicated to helping feral cats.

Angus & Friends Cat Rescue is a new 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2022. Angus & Friends works collaboratively with other groups to do Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), and to find loving homes for as many stray cats and kittens as possible. We are passionate about the cats, and about educating the public about ways to help the cats and kittens that cross their paths with the goal of reducing the numbers

of community cats on the streets. Our organization is dedicated to the memory of Angus, a 15-year-old orange tabby who was found on death's door by people who lived in his neighborhood who assumed he had a home. He didn't, but probably did at one time, because he turned out to be friendly, though very sick. Efforts were made to save him, but he ultimately had to be put down because he was not recovering after a blood transfusion due to flea anemia. Our goal is to help as many homeless cats and kittens as possible to get off the mean streets and place them in new loving, furrever homes.

Hi everyone, Annie here! Today I want to give a special shout-out to all the amazing dads out there—whether you're a cat dad, dog dad, foster dad, or simply someone who opens your heart to animals in need.

Thank you for the cuddles, the treats, the playtime, and for always making us feel safe and loved. We may not always say it (except with purrs, head boops, and happy tails), but we appreciate everything you do!

Today we're celebrating all the amazing cat dads, foster dads, volunteer dads, and father figures who open their hearts and homes to animals in need.

Whether you're scooping litter boxes, sharing your favorite chair, handing out treats, or providing a safe place for a rescued cat to thrive, your love makes a world of difference. Every purr, head bump, and happy tail is a reminder of the special bond you share.

To all the dads who have welcomed a rescue cat into their family, helped care for community cats, volunteered their time, or supported our mission—thank you for making a difference in the lives of so many felines.

FOSTER NEEDED URGENTLY:

Hello! Our names are Geoffrey & Clementine. We were left behind in an apartment by our previous owner. Fortunately, we’re now safe in loving temporary foster homes — but we urgently need a foster home where we can stay together.

Our foster mom says we’re both incredibly sweet and absolutely adorable. She describes us as friendly, inquisitive, brave, playful, a little shy at times, and total lovebugs! We are a bonded pair and would be happiest if adopted together. We’ve been through a lot, and having each other makes us feel safe and comforted.

We were born approximately April 2025, so we’re still young and full of love to give! We are already neutered/spayed, and we’ll be vaccinated and microchipped prior to placement.

Summer is nearly upon us, and Gracie is getting ready for sunny days, warm breezes, and cozy spots to relax in the shade 🌿✨

Gracie is a sweet, fluffy girl who was recently rescued after starting life as a stray. She’s now safe indoors, but what she really needs next is a loving foster (or forever) home to help her fully settle in and enjoy the season ahead.

As the days get longer and brighter, she’s dreaming of a calm, caring place where she can stretch out, soak up the sunshine, and feel right at home 💛
