Angus & Friends Angus & Friends is a 501(c)(3) non-profit in Castro Valley, CA dedicated to helping feral cats.

Angus & Friends Cat Rescue is a new 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2022. Angus & Friends works collaboratively with other groups to do Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), and to find loving homes for as many stray cats and kittens as possible. We are passionate about the cats, and about educating the public about ways to help the cats and kittens that cross their paths with the goal of reducing the numbers of community cats on the streets. Our organization is dedicated to the memory of Angus, a 15-year-old orange tabby who was found on death's door by people who lived in his neighborhood who assumed he had a home. He didn't, but probably did at one time, because he turned out to be friendly, though very sick. Efforts were made to save him, but he ultimately had to be put down because he was not recovering after a blood transfusion due to flea anemia. Our goal is to help as many homeless cats and kittens as possible to get off the mean streets and place them in new loving, furrever homes.

URGENT: FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED ASAP: Lady's foster can no longer keep her, and we need to find a new temporary or permanent home for her right away!
Hi, my name is Lady and I was born in approximately July 2024. I am a striped tabby, with a white belly and a cute black-and-gray ring tail! I was rescued from living on my own outdoors, and now I'm doing great in my foster home. I love to play with toys inside my "donut" bed -- I'll chase little balls my foster mom throws into the bed, but my favorite thing is the wand toy with a fish! I'm ready for my forever home -- will it be with you?
For more information about adopting me, please text Deborah at 510-909-4961 (or leave a message) or email her at [email protected]

👻 Halloween is just around the corner, and sweet Lady needs a little hocus-pocus to help her find a new home! 🧡🐱

🚨 URGENT: LADY NEEDS A NEW FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME RIGHT AWAY! 🚨

Unfortunately, Lady’s current foster can no longer keep her, so we need to find her a safe place to land as soon as possible. Can you be her Halloween hero? 🦸‍♀️🐾

🧡 Meet Lady! 🧡

This beautiful tabby girl, born around July 2024, has gorgeous stripes, a white belly, and the cutest black-and-gray ringed tail! 🐯🤍🖤

Lady was rescued from living outdoors on her own, and she’s now thriving in her foster home. She loves playing with toys from the comfort of her cozy donut bed 🍩🐱, especially chasing little balls tossed her way! But her absolute FAVORITE? A fun fish wand toy! 🎣😻

Lady is ready to trade her outdoor adventures for the comfort, safety, and love of a home to call her own. Could you give this sweet girl the happy ending she deserves? 🏡💕

🎃 Will you be Lady’s Halloween miracle?

🐾 Can you foster her temporarily while she waits for her forever family?
🐾 Ready to adopt and give Lady a lifetime of love?

A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who joined us at Canyons BBQ for our BBQ for the Kitties fundraiser! 🍖❤️ Your support means so much to Angus & Friends Cat Rescue and the cats and kittens who count on us!

🧡 A special thank-you to Canyons BBQ for partnering with us and helping make this fundraiser possible!

Couldn't attend? You can still help our rescue kitties by sharing our adoption posts, volunteering, fostering, or donating. Every little bit makes a difference! 🐾
