*Important Biosecurity Update*

As horse owners and caretakers, we're sure you understand the importance of protecting the health and well-being of our equine family. Due to the recent EHV-1 outbreak, we're taking proactive steps to safeguard our horses and facility.

*To ensure everyone's safety, we've implemented the following precautions:*
- *No new horses will be accepted into our facility* until further notice.
- *Horses currently residing on our property will not be allowed to leave* the premises. If a horse does leave, it will be required to stay off the property for at least 30 days or until the situation subsides to minimize the risk of transmission.

*We kindly request that all visitors and horse owners take the following biosecurity measures:*
- *If visiting other horses or facilities, please take precautions* before returning to our stable, including:
- Changing clothes and shoes
- Showering and washing hands thoroughly
- Disinfecting equipment and surfaces that may have come into contact with other horses
- *When interacting with our horses, please:*
- Disinfect equipment and surfaces
- Use personal protective equipment (gloves, masks, etc.)
- Wash your hands frequently

*Your understanding and cooperation are greatly appreciated.* We're taking these precautions to protect the health and safety of our horses, and we're confident that together, we can minimize the risk of EHV-1 transmission.
