Simon from our 2023 Lumen X Gus litter attended his first hunt test last weekend with his owner Lex. I’m so proud to see one of my puppies out in the field doing what they are bred to do. Simon is a very driven and birdy boy and I’m excited to watch their journey into retriving work.

Thank you to everyone who reached out recently interested in getting a puppy from my Illumination Poodles program! Unfortunately for those excitedly waiting for a puppy I have decided to postpone my next breeding until spring of 2026. I am having some health issues I need to resolve to be able to raise puppies to the high standards I have set for the program. I will be sharing 2026 breeding plans soon with pairings planned from my girls Heiress and Odessa. Please keep watch for updates as I’m super excited to share what will be coming from Illumination Poodles next year 🤩

Whimsy has had a blast showing at her first UKC conformation show at Perry, GA this weekend. She started a bit overwhelmed day one at the United Poodle Association specialty but by day two was practically a pro! I’m totally in love with her happy go lucky attitude and focus she gives me. She took best of breed twice yesterday in novice puppy and has two more shows today.

Anyone attending the show that would like to meet some of my dogs shoot me a message or stop by and say hi!

I am considering having a litter later this year from Heiress, UKC CH UCD Illuminations Her Royal Highness CD RE AX AXJ NF BCAT RATN DM HDN, that would be going to their homes early 2026. Puppies would be prospects for performance, UKC show, active pets, and therapy/service work. I aim for medium-high drive and medium energy with an off switch in all my breedings.
