Looks like it’ll be a busy month in my rabbitry. I’ve currently got 10 Dutch New Zealand babies on the ground, 9 harlequin holland lop, babies on the ground. On tops of 5 assorted new zeal and and 5 Flemish giant/new zealand/ Netherlands dwarf babies on the ground. That’s a total of 29 babies with a few more girls getting ready to give birth.

Two fresh litters on the ground
The first litter is a broken blue New Zealand paired to a blue based harlequin.
The second litter is a sandy Flemish giant nz mix paired to a black otter Netherland dwarf.

Well cleaning day left me with a a good surprise. 7 beautiful healthy eggs from this het pied girl. The dad is my pastel orange dream enchi scrambler pied het albino. this should give me some really beautiful babies that also have the odds of being het albino.

She was also paired to a yellow belly pastel pinstripe banana het pied last season but didn’t lay so there’s a chance of overlap.
I’ll also add that the bedding in her enclosure was all pushed aside along with her prepay shed and a big log. The enclosure was cleaned immediately and the mom is soaking in an electrolyte solution with warm water. The dust is thanks to my quail chicks in the brooder next to the rack stirring up dust when they bathe. It’s cleaned daily.
