The Taylor County Animal Shelter will be closed to the public on Monday, May 26, 2025 to observe Memorial Day.

All are invited to the Memorial Service at the War Memorial starting at noon that day presented by the American Legion Edwards OBanion Post 82. If raining, the Service will be moved across the street to the Civic Center. Thank you and God Bless.

Firefighters are currently es**rting Charlie Shaw back to Campbellsville. The es**rt route will be coming in from Highway 744 to Old Lebanon Road ending at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.

An update will be listed here as the es**rt reaches Taylor County.
