🌡️🐾 Hot Weather = Very Dangerous for Your Pets

As temperatures rise, so does the risk of heat exhaustion and heatstroke in our furry friends. Unlike us, pets can’t cool themselves as easily, and it can become life threatening very quickly!!! 🔥

Signs of heat exhaustion include:
• Excessive panting or drooling
• Lethargy or weakness
• Vomiting or diarrhea
• Bright red gums or tongue
• Difficulty breathing

How to keep your pets safe:
☀️ ALWAYS provide fresh, cool water
☀️ MAKE SURE they have shade or a cool indoor space
☀️ AVOID walks during the hottest parts of the day (opt for early morning or late evening)
☀️ NEVER leave your pet in a parked car, even for a minute

If you notice any signs of heat exhaustion, seek veterinary care immediately. this is an emergency.

🇺🇸 Holiday Hours Reminder 🇺🇸

We will be open 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM on Friday, July 3 and will be closed on Saturday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day.

If your pet needs medication for the fireworks, please call ahead to get it prescribed before we close for the holiday weekend! 🐶

We will resume our regular business hours on Monday, July 6.
