We are hiring for weekend morning help! Our wonderful helper of 3 years is going to college so we need to find a special person to take over the job.
7am-11am or 12pm Saturday and Sunday : feed, turnout, blankets, stalls, horse care, grooming. More hours possible for someone interested in dressage.
Candidate need to love horses, have a positive attitude, be 200% reliable and able to carry 50lb, self starter with great attention to detail and not scared to work in the snow on a 30 acres farm.
Small private barn with great group of clients, happy horses, out all day - a very peaceful job looking for the perfect match.

Busy and successful show weekend at Windy Hollow!
Jen and Edie did one of the two shows and got their first Bronze medal scores at Third Level - what a cool journey it’s been together from eventing to dressage queens 💫
Only one of the show too for Peyton who was taking Stephanie’s Arabian Noble to his first rated show (and second show in total) and got a 63+ First level after a little few pony moments in their first test 🫣 🥰
13 year old Taylor rode in both shows and got all her scores for her Bronze at First level - she also placed 2nd in a busy class with my 20 yo mare Dee Dee who was a bit of a dragon the first day, but Taylor stayed focused and rode like a pro 😎
Vivaldi and I did only one test and are qualified for Regionals at Third level with a solid ride minus a few bobbles ☺️
Deseado and I got more experience at PSG and improved relaxation and suppleness - just a few costly mishaps 🙃
So proud of my students and my horses!

So happy to finally welcome Peyton back to the farm!
She graduated from Johnson and Wales in May and will be helping me with lessons and training - and hopefully social media 🙃Peyton placed 6th in the country at the IDA Nationals before returning to Free Walk Dressage and I can’t wait to see what’s next for her 🥰
Besides her beautiful riding and teaching, Peyton is also an amazing Pilates instructor with great attention to details - and you can also book a reformer class with her at RB Pilates in Cornwall, and some mat class at the farm!

Great first outing at a schooling show to get ready for the rated shows! Taylor and Dee Dee got Junior High Point with 67+ and first time showing at First level and Jennifer and Edie tried out Third level for the first time! Congrats for the great riding and looking forward to much more!!
And so happy to have the best assistant back at the farm - blue ribbon for Peyton too!

ISO - Very safe horse for a father/daughter looking to pursue their dressage journey. Horse must be very reliable, no buck, rear and bolt, 3 corrects gaits, trained to First level.
Must be a narrow built - non negotiable.
Between 15.1 and 16.2. Between 6 and 12 year old. Any breed and color, gelding preferred.
The horse will be in a training program at my farm, turned out all day and trained classically and kindly - a forever loving home with two dedicated dressage and horse lovers!

Belated show congratulations!
We had a great schooling show at the farm on April 27 - despite the windy day, everyone rode beautifully and with great focus and skills. A huge thank to our wonderful judge Regina Cristo who gave us a ton of great advice and to Netty who braved the cold to scribe all day!
Big congratulations for Ulli and Dee Dee, high score of the show🏆 and for Ethel and Jack, reserve high score🏅! For those who did a Fix-a-Test, the most improved ride between first and second test was Taylor with Edie who ended with a 71+ 🌟 Special mention of the judge to Ruth and Lando for the most harmonious pair 🥰
Thank you to everyone who came, to ride or just to visit, sorry I didn’t get to take many pictures, please share some if you have any! Like Jill and her gorgeous shots of Edie and Jack 🤩

❤️ Netty picked the best day to welcome her new fancy boy ❤️ ! Nocturno arrived from Spain today! We are all so thrilled Netty finally has her own horse to spoil here in the US! And he is very lucky he has found himself such a fabulous human to dance with - we wish them all the best together and also, and to everyone else - a Happy Valentine’s Day 💖!

Another beautiful show in the books!
Wonderful weather, super riding, some great costumes and the best judge!
🏆 Team competition was won by home team 🥇Free Walk for the first time (we got 2nd a few other times), 🥈Ferme Brio coming all the way from Quebec took 2nd place. 🌟 High point was Peyton on Dee Dee with 71.54 and reserve High Point for Violaine and her homebred Quincy with 70. 👻 Best costumes for the Pine Bush Superheroes Viola and Ruth - well done ladies - they also had upper sixties scores on their mount! And congrats to Ethel who after a year hiatus came back with Jack to get a 68 and Dana and Impala for their first time at Training 3 got a 65.6.
Thank you to everyone that came, new and familiar faces - it all went very smoothly, big heartfelt thanks to everyone that volunteered for the day and those that helped prepare the farm, I’m so grateful 🤩🥰
Special thanks to the best tack store Valley tack for the prizes, and Farms, the best place for all kinds of pumpkins and mums + great farm stand too 🍁🎃🍂

We did a thing… Deseado and I did our first PSG tests last weekend which gave me the final scores for my silver medal! The biggest of thanks to Lisa Schmidt, I could not have done it without all your help! And special kuddos to my friend Emilie Laval for finding Deseado in Spain. I purchased him as a sale horse project knowing all the tricks but not knowing about suppleness and relaxation, and not bending right either 😆 I thought it would be easy to fix him given how athletic he was, but it still took me two years to change him from feeling like a wooden horse into the free flowing majestic horse he wanted to be! Not to mention the nerves at show that is now a problem of the past - so humbled by his trust and proud of the confidence he now finds in the show ring! Still a few things to tweak but it will be so easy now - Deseado is ready to find his own person! If you know someone looking for a top quality horse with a heart of gold, please let me know!
