Herbal Support for Digestion & Gut Health

When digestion is out of balance, everything else tends to follow. As someone who has struggled with digestive issues for years, finding herbs that can help has literally been a life changer. Bloating, sluggishness, tension—our herbal digestive collection is here to gently restore comfort and flow, using plants that have supported bellies for generations.

Citrus Calm Tea
A light, comforting cup with chamomile, orange peel, and anise seed to calm both belly and mind. Ideal after meals or as a gentle wind-down ritual.

Soothing Gut Tea
A nourishing, gut-friendly blend of chamomile, fennel, marshmallow, calendula, and peppermint. Soothes the digestive lining and supports long-term gut balance.

Ember & Leaf Digestive Tincture
A daily digestive ally with peppermint, ginger root, and fennel, crafted to ease nausea, support digestion, and calm occasional discomfort.

Ember & Root Digestive Bitter
Bitters support your body’s natural digestive fire. This warming blend of dandelion root, orange peel, cardamom, and cinnamon prepares your body for meals, stimulates bile, and helps with that heavy feeling after eating.

Happy Belly Drops
A soothing, alcohol-free blend for kids and sensitive systems. Made with peppermint, dandelion root, lemon balm, and fennel, these drops help ease gas, bloating, and tummy aches—anytime, anywhere.

All crafted in small batches with homegrown or wild-foraged herbs. Grounded, gentle support from the earth to your cup or dropper.

In honor of the first blooms of the year, our first Wednesday Herbal Spotlight is Calendula (Calendula officinalis)

Bright, golden, and full of gentle power—calendula is more than just a pretty flower. This sunny blossom has long been celebrated for its ability to soothe, restore, and support the body, inside and out. This flower is truly one of my favorite herbs. It is one of the first to pop in the spring and lasts sometimes deep into winters if they are mild like ours are. I will always love these sunshiney plants.

At Wandering Bee, we grow and gather calendula with care, knowing the depth of healing it brings.

Why we love calendula:
• Supports healthy skin healing—think scrapes, rashes, and irritation
• Gently anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial
• Calms the digestive tract when taken internally
• Supports the lymphatic system and gentle detox pathways
• Safe, effective, and loved by herbalists for centuries

You’ll find our homegrown calendula in many of our products, from soothing salves to gut teas and lymphatic blends—always dried slowly and infused with care to preserve its vibrant potency. We also sell seeds every year from our plants that we have cultivated for the last 5 years!

Whether steeped in a cup or infused in oil, calendula is a trusted ally in our apothecary and garden alike.

The garden is really starting to take off whether or not the weather is ready haha. I am hopeful that last night and tonight will be the last dips and am planning on starting the wave of finally planting hot crops on Wednesday!

First Catmint of the Season!
There’s nothing quite like that first harvest—soft leaves, cool scent, and the quiet hum of bees nearby. Our catmint is one of the first herbs to wake up in the garden, and it always feels like a small promise of what’s to come.

Hand-harvested and slowly dried to keep its gentle magic intact, catmint is known for calming the mind and comforting the body. This early batch will find its way into tea blends and maybe a few sleepytime remedies.

Small harvests, big gratitude.
