What an incredible weekend at our May Uptown Cadiz "Official" Kitten Adoption Event!

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who made reservations, stopped in to visit, brought donations, shared our posts, and most importantly, opened their hearts and homes to our kittens.

❤️ 7 out of 10 kittens found loving homes!
💰 $291 was raised during the two-day event to help support future rescue and adoption efforts for the Harrison County (OH) Humane Society Foster & Adoptable Animals & Humane Society of Harrison County - Ohio

Events like this are only possible because of the amazing support from our community. Every adoption, donation, and visit helps us continue our mission of saving lives and finding homes for cats and kittens in need.

🐯 Meet Kiwi & Talia 🐯
10 Weeks Old • Babies of Dahlia
Kiwi 🧡 – Male Orange Kitten
Talia 🤎 – Female Tabby Kitten
These beautiful babies may have started out shy, but the transformation they’ve made in just two short weeks has been incredible. When they first arrived, Kiwi and Talia would hide in their carriers and wouldn’t allow pets or be picked up. Now? They’re out exploring, playing, and greeting visitors alongside all the other kittens. 💕
Both kittens play wonderfully with each other and the other babies, though they are not considered bonded since they are both still very independent little souls.
Talia has become quite brave and now enjoys being picked up and petted. Kiwi is still a little timid about being held, but he happily accepts pets and is making progress every single day. These two simply need a little patience, love, and understanding — and they will absolutely blossom into total love bugs in no time. 🐾
And honestly… they are STUNNING kittens. The way they walk, play, pounce, and interact is just like tiny tiger cubs. Their markings, movements, and personalities are absolutely captivating. ✨
